Headband made in multiples of 3.

Headband – ch60 (69, 78, 87) loosely using 4.00mmm hook and color 1 , (RS) working in back bump (see pic) work 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each bump to last ch, 1trc in last ch. Turn.

Border – Working along 1st side of headband ch1, (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in stitch at base of ch1, * skip 2dc, work (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in next dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc and 3tch, skip 2dc, work (1sc, 2dc, 1sc) in top of tch, work sl st in ch3 space, starting from 1st of 3tch, rpt from * to * along 2nd side of headband, 2sl st in trc, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Flower Applique – Using 4.50mm hook and color 2 ch29, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (28sc)

Petals – (RS) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 4hdc in next sc, 1sc in next sc (first petal), * 5dc in next sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * four more times. (second petal), # 7trc in next sc, 1sc in next sc, # rpt from # to # 6 more times (third petal), 1sc in last sc. Fasten off.

Roll flower up working from first to third petal and using loose yarn, sew around petals at back of flower to secure.

Finishing – Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn on headband and flower, attach button to tch end and fasten through space created with trc, sew rose to headband.
